Time and Attendance Management
ShopVue automates factory time and attendance management to reduce the time that payroll managers spend manually tracking and updating time and absence information.
With ShopVue, payroll managers can:
Eliminate paper time sheets. ShopVue can collect time, attendance, and labor data from both hourly and salaried employees, eliminating the need for paper time sheets.
Reduce data entry. ShopVue feeds time and absence data to payroll systems, adjusts punches, and calculates overtime based upon company rules. ShopVue reduces or eliminates the data entry associated with weekly payroll processing.
Approve time electronically. Payroll managers can quickly view employees’ time using Week-at-a-Glance and see whether or not supervisors have approved the records. In a few clicks, payroll managers can email supervisors a reminder to submit missing approvals.
Provide employee self-service. Employees can request vacation time and check available vacation balances on the same terminal they use to punch time, eliminating the need for payroll to routinely provide balances or respond to vacation requests.
The ShopVue Week-at-a-Glance screen displays a week's worth of attendance data for selected employees. Red flags indicate exceptions such as tardies; blue checkmarks indicate a supervisor has approved the entry.
