Every 5 minutes new and changed orders are downloaded from
SAP to ShopVue via the Channel 2 interface. As orders are completed, the
status and labor updates are uploaded from ShopVue to SAP.
ShopVue can perform many important validations to ensure
Operators do things the right way. For example, they can’t start
a job before they time in, they can’t finish a job before starting
one, and they can’t time out without finishing the last job. ShopVue
can even support an Operator working on multiple jobs at the same time
and apportion his time several ways.
