ShopVue is a SQL server based system that extends MK functionality
to the shop floor. Operators can use bar code terminals or touchscreens
to capture labor quantity and status information in realtime and feed
MK.
The ShopVue MK interface transmits released shop orders
from MK to ShopVue for validation and statusing purposes, and transmits
labor transactions from ShopVue back to MK for job costing and order fulfillment.
ShopVue can perform many important validations that ensure
Operators do things the right way. For example, they can’t start
a job before they time in, they can’t finish a job before starting
one, and they can’t time out without finishing the last job.
