 The
GT2 represents a new era in specialized factory terminals. Essentially
a PC at heart, it offers many of the benefits of a PC without all the
“baggage” – intimidating interface, bulky size, need
for a specialized enclosure and security leaks.
Think of it as a “little PC in an all-in-one industrial
case”. In seconds you can connect it to your network via its Ethernet
port. The large color touchscreen combined with the latest programming
tools available in the Windows CE environment have allowed us to build
the ultimate Operator interface. In just a few scans and/or “touches”,
Operators can complete a variety of shop transactions – Attendance,
Order Status, Scrap and Machine Down. A keyboard is unnecessary.
Unlike traditional data collection terminals, the GT2 doesn’t
just take data; it offers meaningful feedback. Informative, graphical
error messages and on demand inquiries like Vacation Balances mean that
Operators are never confused.
