Lytron Affinity Thermal Solutions, a manufacturer of chillers and heat-exchangers for the semiconductor industry, recently selected ShopVue to replace paper job logs and manual scheduling spreadsheets with paperless dispatching, and for its ability to interface to Oracle Manufacturing.
Lytron Affinity managers are already praising ShopVue and Casco staff for a seamless installation. “It was so refreshing to have an implementation go so well; it’s really unusual,” says Ken Holmes, Director of IT.

- Employee Time Savings. It took just two hours for Lytron Affinity's factory employees to begin using ShopVue. Now, employees spend less time at the terminal and more time working. For example, employees now access 3D schematic models on their ShopVue terminals in just two touches instead of hunting for the right files on multiple Oracle menus.
- Accurate Costing. The ability to track metrics like indirect labor, scrap, and rework enables Lytron Affinity to better manage costs and price certain engineered-to-order products.
- Real-time Visibility. Planners can review the status of manufacturing orders in the familiar format of an Excel spreadsheet thanks to a custom data feed that automatically populates the spreadsheet with the latest data from ShopVue and Oracle. Previously, planners spent up to 30 hours a week updating spreadsheets manually.
