Part-Time (Flexible) Software Sales Rep

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Sales Rep will be responsible for calling and qualifying Website visitors who express an interest in learning more about our manufacturing software system.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Most of your time will be spent calling leads. When not on the phone, you will be researching companies and updating our contact management software, Microsoft CRM. Updates will include comments and results from your outbound calls and/or new contact information. Other responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently research companies and uncover contact information
  • Adhere to call program and reach necessary contacts
  • Take meticulous notes during calls and log all call histories in CRM
  • Develop a clear and concise understanding of prospects’ business and technical requirements via the phone and use this information to help position Casco’s offerings
  • Find qualified suspects and prospects for sales group
  • Qualify prospects and schedule follow-up calls for sales group
  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate Casco’s value propositions to key decision makers regarding the ShopVue manufacturing software
  • Achieve quarterly lead generation goals set by sales and marketing management

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experienced with customer service, inbound/outbound telesales or market development and proficient at gathering information over the phone.
  • Excited by learning new technologies/software and posses the ability to quickly learn Casco’s product offerings and the competitive landscape
  • Persistent, aggressive, resourceful and possess a high level of professionalism with strong communication skills

Manufacturing Software Project Consultant

As a Project Consultant, you will use our proven Rapid Rollout methodology to lead client and internal teams over a 12-16 week software implementation.  With an in-depth understanding of our ShopVue system’s capabilities and client requirements, you will blueprint the ideal configuration and any customizations, if necessary. You will build and test the client’s system, conduct a conference room pilot and, finally, be on-site to oversee the go-live conversion.

Specific requirements include:

  • 3+ years implementing large-scale business applications, preferably in manufacturing
  • Fluency in systems analysis
  • Ability to quickly and concisely describe complex problems using the appropriate professional tool
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with C-level management. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 33% of the year 
  •  Four-year degree
