Careers at Casco Development

Come Work With Us!

Are you a successful software professional looking for a better place to work? Consider joining us at Casco Development.

We are an established software development company located in downtown Portland, Maine.

Our 20 employees get to work in beautiful, newly-renovated offices with panoramic views of Portland Harbor and enjoy an easy walk to the many shops and nationally acclaimed restaurants in Portland's Old Port.

But we've got more than a great location...

Here at Casco, we pride ourselves in working hard to provide intelligent solutions to our customers' business challenges in their manufacturing processes. We love working with the newest technologies from development tools to smart boards in our conference rooms.

Because we're a small company, our employees get to wear many hats -- there's always a chance to learn something new and grow professionally -- we value people who can roll up their sleeves and get the job done, whatever it may be.

Last, but not least, we recognize how fortunate we are to live and work in Maine. We strive to provide a flexible work environment, whether it's working from home an a stormy winter day or finding a schedule that works for you and your family.

Our employees also enjoy two unique benefits: Half-day Fridays between July 4th and Labor Day and the opportunity to take a paid four-week sabbatical after five years of employment.

About Our Solution

Casco’s solution, ShopVue, is an enterprise shop floor data collection and control system designed to extend ERP to the factory floor. ShopVue replaces paper and spreadsheets with an intuitive touch-based interface that captures attendance, labor, and machine data with the fewest possible operator actions.

Casco has approximately 150 loyal customers across North America and the world and a steady track record of adding new customers each year. Casco’s customers love ShopVue for its ease of use, the productivity gains it makes possible, and the personal support they receive from our employees.
